IP address stands for internet protocol address; it is an identifying number that is associated with a specific computer or computer network. When connected to the internet, the IP address allows the computers to send and receive information.

What does the fellowship do?The fellowship aims to provide support to anyone who is interested in internet number policy to attend regional meetings.

Am I qualified for the fellowship?Yes, as long as you are interested in number policy. We are an equal organization which welcome people of all races, education, gender and class.

Am I eligible for the fellowship if I am not based in Hong Kong?Yes, absolutely. The interview procedure is conducted through web/phone.

I am interested in number policy but I do not have any previous training regardingly. Am I still eligible?Yes, one of the aims of the Foundation is to educate the public. You can contact us for some booklets regarding number policy.

I am from Africa but I would really like to attend RIR meetings outside Africa. Will that be possible?Yes, your request will be considered if you can provide us the reasons. The Internet is borderless and participation of Internet governance shall be not restricted by geographical factors.

I have my own stand regarding Internet governance. Will I fit in?Certainly. At Larus Foundation we respect and value different voices regarding Internet governance. We do not impose any stand or opinion upon our candidates and members.

I really want to attend a RIR meeting but I do not have enough funds for transportation. What shall I do?Larus Foundation provides transportation and accommodation allowance for our candidates. Please apply on our website and we will get back to you once we have evaluated your application.
